Program Co-Chairs

Stephen H. Greetham has served as special counsel to the Chickasaw Nation since
January 2007. He worked closely with tribal leadership primarily on water and natural
resource issues, intergovernmental relations and legislative initiatives. Appointed as the
Chickasaw Nation`s chief legal officer in September 2009, he continues to work with tribal
leadership on those issues and initiatives, while managing legal issues and initiatives for
the Division of Commerce. Mr. Greetham was formerly a partner in the Nordhaus Law Firm in
Albuquerque.

L. Mark Walker focuses his practice on natural resources, environmental and energy law.
His practice includes litigation in both federal and state courts, as well as practicing before
various agencies, including the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. Mr. Walker is a Fellow
in the American College of Environmental Lawyers and is listed in Chambers USA and Best
Lawyers in America. He is a frequent speaker and writer on water, environmental and energy
issues.

Featured Presenters

Christopher Kenney worked for the Department of the Interior for over 20 years before
retiring in 2007. He worked to negotiate Indian water rights and has participated in or
managed over 20 Indian water rights negotiations and settlements, chairing federal teams
in over six of those settlements. He spent his last 12 years in federal service as Director of
Native American Affairs for the Bureau of Reclamation, providing over $50 million to assist
in Indian water development. Mr. Kenney now resides in Oklahoma as a cattleman and is a
consultant to Indian tribes and non-Indian water users on Indian water rights.

Drew L. Kershen joined the University of Oklahoma law faculty in 1971 and teaches
courses on agricultural law, legal history, professional responsibility and water rights. He
focuses his teaching, research and lecturing on agricultural biotechnology law and policy.
He has held visiting professorships at the universities of Kansas, Illinois and Arkansas Little
Rock. Professor Kershen is co-author of Farm Products Financing and Filing Service, written
in 1990 with J. Thomas Hardin. He has authored more than 40 other book chapters, grant
reports and law review articles.

Cheryl McClellan was elected in 2007 to serve a four-year term as Second Chief of the
Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee. Her primary role is to serve as Chief in the absence
of the elected Principal Chief. She is also the tribe`s Business Committee Liaison to Health,
Housing, Gaming, Strategic Planning and Tribal Water Rights. Prior to this position, she
was an engineer with Honeywell for 25 years, holding key positions in defense-related
disciplines.

J.D. Strong was named Oklahoma`s fifth Secretary of Environment by Governor Henry on
August 20, 2008. In addition to serving as Governor Henry`s lead advisor on environmental
matters, Mr. Strong coordinates the activities of the Environmental Cabinet, including the
ODEQ, OWRB and ODWC. In his 12 years at the Office of the Secretary of Environment, he
served as lead advisor to three different Cabinet Secretaries for two Governors, coordinating
both the Governor`s Tar Creek Superfund Task Force and the Governor`s Animal Waste and
Water Quality Protection Task Force.
